Oil paint has come a long way environmentally and remains as forgiving and expressive as it has always been.
The studio — conveniently located near West 49th Avenue and Yew Street in Vancouver, BC — is a tranquil space designed to foster creativity, focus, and camaraderie among artists of all skill levels.
Join a class and simply bring a canvas of your choice. Paint, brushes, palettes, and easels are all provided for you — along with Natty’s gentle, expert instruction. You can leave your canvas in the studio to dry between sessions.

- Mondays 10:00am–12:00pm • 2:00pm–4:00pm • 6:30pm–9:30pm
- Tuesdays 10:00am–12:00pm • 4:30pm–6:30pm
- Wednesdays 10:00am–12:00pm
- Thursdays 7:30pm–10:30pm
- Fridays 10:00am–1:00pm
- Sundays 10:00am–1:00pm • 2:00pm–4:00pm

Lesson Rates
Group Classes
$25 per 2-hour class
$30 per 3-hour class
Paints, brushes, and easels included. Bring your canvas.

$50 for a 2-hour private session

Studio Policies & Payment Details
Monthly Tuition & Billing Principle
Students are billed a flat amount per calendar month based on their chosen weekly class slot. Because calendar months vary between 4 and 5 weeks depending on the day of the week and studio holiday closures, your total monthly tuition amount may vary slightly month-to-month. Natty will inform you of the exact total at the beginning of each calendar month.
Cancellation & Attendance Policy
Please notify Natty promptly if your plans change or if you need to reschedule a class. Cancellations require at least [FILL IN: number of hours/days notice required to cancel a class without being charged] advance notice to receive credit. Excused cancellation credit will be [FILL IN: whether cancellation credit is applied to next month tuition or rescheduled].

Payment can be made in person or electronically using any of the following methods:

Simply bring a blank canvas of your choice! All oil paints, brushes, palettes, mediums, and studio easels are provided for you as part of your lesson fee. You can also leave your canvas in the studio to dry safely between sessions.
Yes! Classes cater to all skill levels from complete beginners picking up a brush for the first time to experienced painters refining their technique. Natty provides personalized instruction tailored to each student's pace.
