Oil paint has come a long way environmentally and remains as forgiving and expressive as it has always been.
The studio — conveniently located near West 49th Avenue and Yew Street in Vancouver, BC — is a tranquil space designed to foster creativity, focus, and camaraderie among artists of all skill levels.
Join a class and simply bring a canvas of your choice. Paint, brushes, palettes, and easels are all provided for you — along with Natty’s gentle, expert instruction. You can leave your canvas in the studio to dry between sessions.

Lesson Rates
Group Classes
$40 per 3-hour class
Paints, brushes, and easels included. Bring your canvas.
Group classes only — private lessons are not currently offered.

Studio Policies & Payment Details
Monthly Charge & Billing Schedule
Students pay a monthly charge based on the number of classes held in that calendar month. Because calendar months vary between 4 and 5 weeks depending on the day of the week and studio holiday closures, your total monthly payment reflects the exact number of classes scheduled for that month. Natty will inform you of the exact total at the beginning of each calendar month.
You pay only for the number of classes you intend to attend that month. If something comes up and you give at least 24 hours' notice, you'll receive credit toward the next month, or Natty will be happy to find you a spot on a different day. If Natty needs to cancel a class, you'll receive credit for the next month.
Cancellation & Attendance Policy
Please notify Natty as early as possible if your plans change or if you need to reschedule a class so your spot can be held or credited toward a future class.

Payment can be made in person or electronically using any of the following methods:

- Cash: Cash payments are accepted in person at the studio at the beginning of the month or lesson.

Simply bring a blank canvas of your choice! All oil paints, brushes, palettes, mediums, and studio easels are provided for you as part of your lesson fee. You can also leave your canvas in the studio to dry safely between sessions.
Yes! Classes cater to all skill levels from complete beginners picking up a brush for the first time to experienced painters refining their technique. Natty provides personalized instruction tailored to each student's pace.
The studio is located near West 49th Avenue and Yew Street in Vancouver, BC. Convenient street parking is available nearby. Exact studio access instructions are provided upon registration confirmation.
Classes are primarily structured for adults and teens.
Please notify Natty at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend. You'll receive credit toward the next month, or Natty will be happy to find you a spot on a different day.
